Nature as a role model
Inspired by human biology, Biotrue ONEday for Astigmatism mimics the natural functioning of the eye: The one-day contact lenses are made of innovative hypergel and have a water content of 78%, the same as the cornea. The hypergel follows the example of the tear fluid in minimising dehydration of the lenses. The lenses orient themselves on the natural lipid layer of the eyes, and thus reduce dehydration - high moisture content of the lenses are reduced only minimally during the day.
